Yvette Dantier

From the moment Yvette touches her guitar strings, the atmosphere shifts. Her voice—soft, silky, and effortlessly controlled—settles in with natural ease. She doesn’t aim to impress; she aims to connect. And that’s precisely what makes her stand out.
Her musical universe flows like the tides, moving seamlessly between jazz, bossa nova, timeless standards, and her own compositions. This versatility reflects years of listening, learning, and refining her craft. As a songwriter and arranger, she shapes her music with a complete artistic vision.
Her journey began on stage through singing competitions, including Ti Mambo (2005), Star (2012), and Nou Pays, Nou Lamizik (2013). Each appearance helped her grow, strengthen her confidence, and define her artistic identity.
In Mauritius, she quickly established herself as a prominent presence, performing at major events such as Dreamers, one of the island’s key cultural gatherings. Her talent then reached beyond the island, with performances at the Sakifo Festival in Réunion, sharing the stage with Zulu.
