Tipti is today one of the artists standing out on Mauritius’ new music scene. Young, but already well established in the industry, he has always been drawn to music. Yet, before stepping up to the microphone, he dreamed of pursuing a career as a dancer.

Singing came almost naturally, particularly alongside his cousins, with whom he formed Les Daltons. This first experience allowed him to hone his skills before joining Favelas Gang, an important step in his career. A few years later, Tipti embarked on a solo career and began carving out his own path.

Since then, the artist has enjoyed a meteoric rise. His universe, driven by a distinctive flow, boundless energy on stage and vivid punchlines, appeals to a new generation of fans. Among his standout tracks, “To Ti Pou Aster” holds a special place. It is a song that Tipti considers his favourite and which has played a major role in establishing his name on the local music scene.

Another notable track in his repertoire is “Boom Boom Bam Bam”, recorded as a featured collaboration with VJ Awax, GTNN, MC Bix from Réunion and Tii Alexandre. The collaboration also reflects Tipti’s growing connection with the regional music scene and his desire to build more musical connections. With Tii Alexandre, the artist already has several tracks together.
