Abel

Abel, a singer, songwriter and performer from Curepipe, has established himself as one of the voices of Mauritius’ music scene. Coming from a family deeply rooted in music, he developed a passion for singing at an early age and dreamed of making a living from his music.

Inspired in particular by Tayc’s charisma and journey, Abel dedicated himself fully to his craft and gradually developed his own musical identity. Tracks such as “L’amour infini”, “Pompom” and “Trembler” contributed to his rise and helped him connect with a wider audience.

Backed by his fans and the strong reception to his live performances, Abel has continued to make his mark with tracks such as “Jackpot”, “To Tousel” and, more recently, “La Vie Zolie”. His music has also reached beyond Mauritius, with international tours and performances further expanding his visibility outside the island.

Abel has already released his debut album, titled “Ti Fler”. He also presents “Abel – À cœur ouvert”, an unplugged live session alongside his musicians, offering a more intimate and authentic take on his repertoire. With new music, live shows and international projects on the horizon, Abel continues to take the next steps in his journey and strengthen his identity on the music scene.
