Following the success of the DREAMERS afterwork and the LA ISLA 2068 festival, La Isla Social Club launches a brand-new musical event: FRENCH TOUCH, celebrating a cultural movement that has conquered the world. This festive and borderless event is also part of the celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of La Isla Social Club.

For this first edition, the lineup brings together two iconic figures of the 2000s French Touch scene, alongside the new wave of electronic producers from Mauritius :

DEMON (France)
An international phenomenon of the 2000s, Demon released the legendary debut album Midnight Funk. The French electronic producer gained global recognition with You Are My High, which has accumulated over 250 million views across platforms. The track is now considered one of the most famous French Touch classics, nominated at the Victoires de la Musique and the MTV Awards, listed in The Guardian’s “20 Greatest French Touch Tracks”, and accompanied by a music video described by Les Inrockuptibles as one that “changed the history and codes of French music videos.”

JEF K (France)
A key figure of the Parisian club scene in the 1990s and 2000s, Jef K held a 10-year residency at the legendary Rex Club in Paris and regularly performed at the iconic Respect Is Burning parties, which famously helped launch the careers of Daft Punk.

NINA HELLIS (Mauritius) x CAROLINE VILLAIN (France)
Mauritian artist Nina Hellis will perform on piano, joined for the first time by French lyrical singer Caroline Villain (Sébastien Tellier, Data...). Together, they will present live pop reinterpretations of French Touch classics, from Modjo to Daft Punk.

MARIE x DYLAN SENDECK (Mauritius)
Konpoz to Lamizik finalist Marie will take the decks alongside Dylan Sendeck, performing live versions of her first two original compositions.

MONO x ASHLYN (Mauritius)
The producer duo from Mahébourg will deliver a special DJ set paying tribute to the French Touch movement.
