About the Event : Tiroir Aux Souvenirs 3

A wind of memories will sweep through the Caudan Arts Centre on 30 and 31 August as the pioneers of Mauritian music return to rekindle the magic of an unforgettable era.

In the world of music, values like conviviality and recognition are essential. It’s in this spirit that the Tiroir aux Souvenirs project pays tribute—through a special evening—to those who shaped the island’s musical history. Artists who were, in their time, true ‘kings of rock’n’roll’ and local ‘crooners,’ and who today remain an integral part of Mauritius’s musical DNA.

For the third edition of Tiroir aux Souvenirs, Mario Armel, Lindsay Morvan, Patrice Chinapen, Alain Clément, Michel Kwon, Ram Joganah, Roland Fatime, Jenny MacKay, Eddy Fok Shan, along with Robert Duvergé, Gaëtan Rivet, and Clyde Chandoo, will take the stage to passionately and generously revive the magic of an unforgettable era. It promises to be an evening filled with emotion, memories, and musical reunions—not to be missed!

The Caudan Arts Centre will host a vibrant tribute to the artists who left a lasting mark on Mauritian music and paved the way for future generations. Enjoy over two hours of timeless songs, performed by talented musicians, as cherished memories come to life once more.
