Meta and The Cornerstones, the current trendsetters in reggae music, are set to deliver an unforgettable concert at their debut performance in Mauritius.
But that's not all – this evening will be further elevated by the live performances of Wizdom from La Réunion, accompanied by eight exceptionally talented local artists from Mauritius.
Natir, Ras Minik, Denis Fricot, Ras Ninin, Sayaa, and Jonas & The Roots Level Band will collectively provide a unique and captivating musical experience, seamlessly blending reggae, seggae, and other melodious genres.

Once again, at Germain Comarmond Stadium, Bambous, another historic event will take place: the first Meta and The Cornerstones concert in Mauritius. The Bambous Stadium, at first glance a simple place, is being transformed in an impressive way with facilities such as the stage and the lighting. This spectacular transformation makes this outdoor space a truly captivating place.
VIPs will have the privilege of access to a special entrance and a covered reserved area, offering optimal comfort during the show. The icing on the cake for VIPs is that they will be positioned much closer to the stage, giving them an exceptional view of the artists and the entire show. In contrast, regular ticket holders will be slightly behind the VIP area, but will still be able to fully enjoy the music and atmosphere of the concert.

Wizdom
Wizdom embodies the epitome of quiet strength. Beneath his unassuming demeanour and tranquil presence lies a unique artistic force. His raspy voice, accompanied by a melodic guitar, whisks his audience away to an authentic musical realm, free from any artifice.
Born in 1995 in the western region of Reunion Island, Wizdom developed a refined musical style centred around his guitar and vocals, all the while harbouring grand aspirations.
In 2014, he embarked on a journey to collaborate with renowned artists, catching the attention of Sskyron, who reached out to him after stumbling upon one of his online videos. Opportunities multiplied, and the following year, he teamed up with Black Ducks Music. His path eventually led him to Toulou in 2016.
Undeterred, he signed with Nirvana, and in 2017, he released his debut tracks, “You Women” and “La Kouler,” taking the bold step of venturing into the uncharted territory of traditional Sega music. That audacious move paid off.
In January 2018, Wizdom released his EP on legal download platforms to an enthusiastic public reception. By April of the same year, his more personal track, “Paradise,” had quickly amassed one million views, solidifying his ascent in the music industry.
Ras Ninin
Ras Ninin, often referred to as a “seggaeman,” is a perceptive observer who draws inspiration from the tapestry of life, be it societal, familial, political, or personal experiences. What distinguishes him is his inexhaustible creativity and genuine simplicity. He made his debut with the release of his first album, “FREE,” in the late ’90s, followed by musical gems like “ENN LOT ZIMAZ,” “LAPO KAFÉ,” and “BATHIJA.” Denis Fricot has also lent his talents to numerous collaborations with gifted artists, spanning Mauritius, Réunion, Seychelles, Rodrigues, France, Canada, and beyond.

He played a pivotal role as a founding member of the music education center for youth known as “Cool is I,” situated in Pointe aux Sables.
During his formative years, Ras Minik had the privilege of being mentored by stalwarts of the Mauritian music scene like George Corette and Maxime Rosalba. In 1996, the budding musicians from the “Cool is I” took their inaugural steps onto the stage during the “Megaravannes” performance as part of the music festival celebrations.
Fueled by his passion for reggae and seggae music, Ras Minik contributed to two Ton ViE albums, namely “Peros vert” in 2002 and “Prisonnier de la Rue” in 2004. He also lent his talents to the album “Kaya Freeman” as a tribute to Kaya in 2002.
In 2005, Ras Minik unveiled his solo album titled “Pirataz,” a collaborative effort with the musicians of the “Cool is I” band. Here, he showcased his drumming prowess while harmonizing with his brother as a choir singer.
