Literature also plays an important role in his artistic journey, particularly the works of Khalil Gibran, Dev Virahsawmy, Chinua Achebe, Toni Morrison and James Baldwin.

Today, Jason Lily develops his creativity through music, writing and visual arts. He is part of the trio LILY, alongside TiPunk and Asheel, with whom he is working on the track Mama Thérèse. He is also the author of the poetry collection Poem Fertil and is working on a second book with his cousin Danilo Pavaday.

In 2012, his stay in England marked an important turning point in his journey, allowing him to fully experience what it meant to be an artist. Throughout his career, he has notably played the lead role in Porgy ek Bess at Caudan Arts Centre and collaborated on a song with African artists and a Grammy Award winner. His work explores themes such as justice, love, revolution and the ability to overcome oneself.
