O’bra, whose real name is Dwayne Tanner, is a rising Mauritian artist shaped from an early age by a deep-rooted musical influence. The son of singer Wendiva—a respected figure on the local scene who has collaborated with artists such as Blakkayo, Vergino, OSB, and Otentik Groove—he grew up in an environment where music and creativity were part of everyday life.
He began singing at the age of four, quickly revealing a natural talent for music. In 2017, he made his first stage appearance through the talent show Ti Mambo, before further honing his craft at Atelier Moz’art. There, he developed his musical identity and strengthened his skills, evolving into a versatile musician proficient in several instruments, including drums, guitar, keyboard, and bass, with a particular passion for the guitar.
Over time, O’bra has established himself as both a songwriter and performer, crafting a distinctive sound through his compositions and collaborations. Tracks such as “En Vain”, “Zetwa”, “Important”, and “Cocasse” highlight his artistic growth and steadily rising potential.
