Vanessa Bancilhon
One of the rare female artists on the electronic scene in Mauritius, Vanessa is among the revolutionists of the world of Deejaying. She was born in 1999 and started playing in November 2017. Despite being so young and in a world mostly dominated by men, Vanessa got noticed by the local event managers for her music. Some may say, she has an explicit taste of techno music.
She gained even more popularity while featuring big international acts in Mauritius, such as Khainz, Konrad Black, Maksim Dark, Cristian Craken, Momo Dobrev, Dennis Smile, Khen, Mogey, Audiojerk, Mila Dietrich & Dimi Mechero. This exposure helped her to learn and expand her musical sense. She can easily adapt to any party & crowd since she masters lots of styles namely; deep & groovy music and also dark or detroit techno.
Slowly but surely, she is becoming one of the most appreciated DJs on the island. Vanessa is also multitalented, she has worked on different videos as the Stylist and is the Ambassador of Johnnie Walker Mauritius.
