Yohan André
Born and raised in Camp Chapelon, Pailles, Yohan André discovered a passion for music at a young age. This talented artist is inspired by real life events, love stories and movie scenes. At the age of 17, he started performing in public such as in nightclubs and events.
The Mauritian public discovered this young author and composer with his very first title ”To Grandiose Toi”. This title had a massive success on Tiktok and what should have been a mere way to have fun, became a career choice for the young artist. As a result, he released other major hits such as “Lavi 100 Twa”, “Kisana Piarose Marose” & “Ti Mamzel”.
During his career he has collaborated with several other local artists such as Tazou, Tii Alexandre, Donovan Bts & Ejilen Faya, amongst others, but he doesn’t plan to stop here.
In addition, he has also done several duets namely with DJ Wayn, which he describes as a unique duo. Not only do they often work together and are good friends, but DJ Wayn is also his beat maker.
As for Yohan, he mentions the desire to professionalise in events. He has many plans for the future, such as performing on an international stage. In addition, he would like to collaborate with the famous singer Dadju and on the local level, he would like to work with the singer, Blakkayo.
