About the Event : COUTURE FOR A CAUSE – DÉFILÉ SOLIDAIRE

Ladies and gentlemen, on 6 December at the IFM in Rose Hill, you'll have the chance to discover the world of Fabien Fauzou, Mauritian fashion designer and creator. In this fashion show, each creation is a chapter, each fabric an emotion, and each stitch a bold stroke that makes fashion shine in a different light.
For the past 15 years, Fabien Fauzou has been weaving dreams and emotions into his designs. His pieces are more than clothes – they are stories, reimagined memories, and poetic moments that come to life through fabric and form.
Under the theme “Thread by Thread, I Wove Myself”, this show reflects a journey shaped by resilience and transformation. It tells of humble beginnings, when sewing was both a refuge and a fragile dream, of obstacles overcome, and of the encounters that shaped his artistic vision. It celebrates emancipation, recognition, and social commitment, while projecting a vision of fashion that is inclusive, human, and full of meaning.
Every detail, every stitch, every embroidery carries emotion and passion. This is more than a show – it’s a textile narration, an ode to identity, dignity, and authenticity.
