About the Event : Dragon Moon Festival
After organizing over 500 events in five years, The Chinatown Foundation is thrilled to present the Dragon Moon Festival to Mauritius.
Set for September 22nd at Trianon Convention Centre, this festival will be a world-class cultural show, featuring 500 artists from Mauritius and abroad.
Mid-Autumn Festival also known as Moon Festival is one of the most traditional festivals and a joyous celebration with family reunion.
Thus, The Chinatown Foundation is reuniting hundreds of artists from all walks of life for a fabulous concert to celebrate the Year of the Dragon Moon Festival.
This event aims to bring together, from the very young to the elders, in a 1h 45 min concert made up of some 18 performances, a fusion of foreign and local artists with singing, dancing, martial arts and a fashion show.
This year, The Chinatown Foundation is bringing together a diverse array of international artists, including Chen Shanboa, the Hakka Superstar, and Jiani Li, the renowned Opera Singer, alongside talents from various countries.
The concert will not only highlight these global stars but also provide invaluable media exposure for our Mauritian culture, showcasing local talents on an international stage.
It’s a chance to groom and inspire the younger generation, allowing them to shine alongside established artists from eight different countries.
Join us in celebrating a festival that brings people together for a one-time, world-class experience, and dreams big to inspire future generations.
Children who are 5 years old and older must have their own seat and ticket. Children under 5 years old do not need a ticket if they sit on a parent's lap. However, if a child 5 years or younger needs a separate seat, then a ticket must be purchased.
