Djalel Biad, better known as D’Jal, is a French comedian and actor recognized for his distinctive style. He’s often seen sporting a black cap turned backwards during his performances. D’Jal is celebrated for his spot-on caricatures of various accents, showcased in sketches like “Le Professeur de BTP” and “Vive le Portugal,” where he hilariously adopts a Portuguese accent. The latter sketch has garnered over 10 million views on YouTube.

Before gaining widespread acclaim at the Jamel Comedy Club, D’Jal honed his craft on open stages, where he introduced his signature “Portuguese” character. His talent soon catapulted him to the international stage.

His debut show, “JUST D’JAL,” was a resounding success, drawing in over 400,000 spectators in just four years. Now, in 2024, he returns with a brand-new performance titled “EN PLEINE CONSCIENCE.”

Beyond his stand-up career, D’Jal expanded into filmmaking, co-directing his first feature film, “Opération Portugal,” alongside Frank Cimière. Released in 2021, the film surpassed 450,000 tickets sold. Following its success, D’Jal announced the sequel, “Opération Portugal 2: La Vie de Château,” slated for release in February 2024.
