ENCODER EXPERIMENT is a rising gem from the Indian Ocean! The Malagasy producer, who has already appeared at Boiler Room and Sakifo, is pushing the boundaries of the region’s electronic music scene. GЯEG is the story of a kid from Eau Coulée who went on to become a key figure in Parisian nightlife. A regular at Rex and Boiler Room, and acclaimed for closing the Olympic Games celebrations at Stade de France with his track “Eau Coulée Smart City”, the DJ and producer is the international flag-bearer of Mauritius’ electronic music scene. With his new EP “Kas Frekans” on the way, his set promises a high-energy showcase of hybrid club music.

SUEILO is leading the new urban wave from the neighbouring island, shaking up the Afro-street pop scene. Signed to Capitol Records, propelled by the success of “Mon Kèr” (3.3 million views), and recently featured at Le Printemps de Bourges, Paléo Festival and Sakifo, Sueilo promises a high-voltage live performance!

KERVELI, recently awarded the prestigious Prix Flamboyant for the album “Zoiseau Paradis”, is breaking the mould of traditional maloya. Blending the power of Creole percussion with the delicate textures of violin and cello, the quintet delivers an acoustic live performance of rare emotional intensity.

Vivéa Business Park

LA ISLA 2068 is moving to a brand-new location at Vivéa Business Park in Moka. Festival entry will be through La Piazza hall. The site stretches from the iconic chimney of the former Mont Désert Alma sugar factory (garden area) to La Piazza’s indoor space. Located in the heart of the island, Vivéa Business Park offers easy access, with large, secure and free parking facilities available near the festival entrance.
