About the Event : NOU LE MORNE 2022 : Positiv Vibrasyon

Saturday, August 27th & Sunday, August 28th, a 2-day cultural event awaits you at The Green Village, La Gaulette - NOU LE MORNE 2022 : Positiv Vibrasyon. This event is packed with mind blowing exhibitions, workshops of all kinds, Creole Cuisine, good music with a variety of local and international artists, plus a tribute to Ti Frer!
More than just a festival, NOU LE MORNE 2022 : Positiv Vibrasyon is an invitation to discover the essence of our island and what makes it so unique- the perfect blend of cultural diversities with a shared love for music, food and entertainment.
To further bring this theme to life, you’ll get to immerse yourself in the universe of Tessa De Robillard- the one behind mesmerising artworks that can’t be appreciated enough. Eclectic, fascinating, colourful... Her creations will have you guessing a world of emotions and possibilities.
You’ll have the chance to encounter international artists and our very own local talents including but not limited to Justice Lecoq , DJ Brainlove & Sarah Honoré as well as a tribute to the one and only, Ti Frer. However, the star of the show is the highly talented and creative musician, Aluta Humbane, who’s coming all the way from South Africa just for you!
The vibrant exhibitions and workshops will surely intrigue you, with selected ticket types including creative sessions! Unleash your inner musician with the Lavwa Tambour session or learn about the maintenance of bee colonies during the beekeeping activity, also called apiculture. If you’re more into agricultural practices, then the permaculture activity will poke your interest!
Dancing and exploring around all day will surely have your belly growling, which is when you’d want to have a bite of all the flavour-filled dishes at the Food Corners. The main theme of the day will be the irresistible Creole Cuisine that will fill the air at The Green Village with the most tempting aromas. If you wish to take full advantage of the venue, you have the chance to pitch your own tent!
