Music and Justice is a story that began during his childhood. Inspired by the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson, Justice started humming his songs namely ‘I’ll Be There’ after his death. When Justice’s father realised that indeed Justice is a talented young man, he enlisted Justice for the competition Star 2009. Justice often remembers how his father never missed an opportunity to help him to pursue his passion for music.
The difficult times for Justice and his family resurfaced when his father passed away. For Justice, the death of Justice made all the music from his life fade away, he stopped music altogether. He managed to pass his exams at the Curepipe College despite facing difficulties in his personal life. At the age of 17, Justice decided to quit his studies instead of going for his Form 5 exams again and had to work several jobs to be able to provide for him and his family.
He recalls being a child who always questioned the system. Be it for studies or as a profession, Justice was always asking questions that no one else could have thought about and never wanted to fit in the system that everyone pestered him to follow and this leads to Justice gaining awareness of what he truly wants and connects with music again.
After getting the second place in the singing competition Vibe Moris, Linzy Bacbotte invites Justice to sing along her side during shows in hotels. And at the age of 19. Justice releases his EP, The Greatest Romance, features five songs and are all related to each other. To highlight his past through music, Justice uses different styles and also love. The second chapter of The Greatest Romance is set to release soon and will be a continuation of his story.
His hit ‘Bizin Twa Mo Baba’ is a favourite among Mauritians and Justice even collaborated with Kumar for the single ‘Cross The Border’
