It is under the rays of the full moon on Tuesday, October 7, that Patyatann invites you to celebrate the launch of their new album, Lanwit · Lizour. A musical and literary exploration where legends, stories, and tales of Mauritius intertwine and come to life.

Join them at the IFM amphitheatre from 19h. to dance, sing, and share in the vibrant energy of this very special evening.

The album book will be available for purchase on site, with a signing and meet-and-greet opportunity with the band after the concert. Meals and drinks will be available at the Baudelaire restaurant.

“Patyatann” is a compound word in Mauritian Creole, which literally means “We didn’t expect it.” An expression that reflects not only their unique and captivating music, but also their journey — with concerts in Mauritius, at IOMMA (Réunion), in England, France, India, and Nepal!

Deeply rooted in the heritage of their island and committed to preserving its patrimony, Patyatann’s music blends sounds influenced by Indian, Chinese, European, and African traditions — all essential to Mauritius’ intercultural identity.
