La Citadelle spans an impressive 150 meters in length and 100 meters in width, with its robust walls constructed from enduring basalt stones that have withstood the test of time. Perched atop the heights, it affords a magnificent panoramic view of the capital city. For this special occasion, a splendid backdrop will be set up, featuring two alternating stages.

A single type of ticket is available, granting access to La Citadelle event for over four hours. You will have the opportunity to relish live performances by six artists and explore food stalls to satiate your culinary desires.

The 4 NGOs: Vent d’un Rêve, Terre de Paix, Literacy by Fatima and Caritas Grand Gaube will be present at the event and will each have a stand.

Vent d’un Rêve – Established in 2011, Vent d’un Rêve is a community and social initiative centered around classical music. As a partner of the LA ISLA 2068 festival, this association offers free music education and after-school programs to children in the city of Mangalkhan.

Terre de Paix – For over three decades, the organization has been dedicated to combating poverty and its effects on the most marginalized segments of society, with a particular focus on children. Their efforts encompass the provision of healthcare, education, and child protection, guided by the principles outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Alphabétisation de Fatima – The Alphabétisation de Fatima’s mission is to embrace every child, provide them with guidance, and assist them in developing their lives by recognizing their skills and strengths. This includes furnishing them with appropriate education and all essential resources required for successful integration into society.

Caritas Grand Gaube – Caritas is a charitable organization dedicated to delivering social and humanitarian aid throughout the island, offering support to marginalized individuals and communities. The Grand Gaube branch of Caritas is actively addressing food insecurity through its solidarity shop.

Patyatann

Patyatann, a musical project originating in Mauritius, unites five versatile musicians. Their debut album, ‘Sanpek,’ released in 2016, achieved remarkable success, opening doors to international tours in France and Switzerland in 2018. The name ‘Patyatann,’ derived from Mauritian Creole, literally translates to ‘We didn’t expect it,’ mirroring their extraordinary journey and distinctive musical style. The ensemble excels in incorporating traditional Mauritian instruments such as tabla, didgeridoo, and ravanne, among others. Their multilingual vocal harmonies, spanning Creole, French, English, Sanskrit, and Bhojpuri, captivate a broad audience.
