Philharmonia Festival in Mauritius – Best of John Williams 1: 28 Jan – 20h

Following two previous sold-out editions, the world-renowned Philharmonia Orchestra returns for its third and biggest Mauritius festival yet on 28 January. This time, the spotlight is on The Best of John Williams, with music from Star Wars, Jurassic Park and more.

John Williams needs little introduction. He has created some of the most memorable themes in cinema history, from the instantly recognisable music of Star Wars to Jurassic Park, Harry Potter and more.

In January 2027, you will have the chance to experience these legendary works right here in Mauritius, celebrating the 50th anniversary of John William’s Star Wars score. This event brings those scores out of the screen and onto the stage, performed live by the full Philharmonia Orchestra under the direction of conductor Stephen Bell.

For John Williams fans, film lovers and anyone who enjoys a major live experience, this is the kind of concert Mauritius does not get every day.

This is the chance to hear some of the most iconic film music ever written, performed by one of the world’s leading recording orchestras.
