About the event: Protez Nou Lagon 3
In support of an environmental cause, Protez Nou Lagon 3 brings you a fusion of ecology, music and art on 10 December 2022. The first part of the event will be held at the Grand Gaube public beach, where several free activities will be scheduled - to the delight of both kids and grown-ups! And to keep up the fun, head to the Sir Gaëtan Duval Stadium in Grand Gaube, from 7:00 pm, for an exceptional concert.
This year, Protez Nou Lagon returns with an excellent, eco-friendly and exemplary edition in Grand Gaube. The event will be full of free art and ecology activities during the day, and will feature a list of famous artists to entertain you in the evening!
The program will be full of entertainment and you'll often be challenged to decide where you want to be: attending a jam session, doing yoga or getting a massage.
Protez Nou Lagon 3 has carefully designed everything so that neither you nor the kids will be bored. The latter will have the opportunity to do face painting and participate in games. There will also be a mascot, a sand castle and you can go back in time with the Zistwar Dantan, as well as learn more about the life of fishermen.

You will also have the chance to live a musical experience, from 19h00 to 03h00, with a lineup of more than 10 in-demand local artists such as, Blakkayo & Solda Vérité, The Prophecy, Joker Kartel, 666 Armada, among many others who will be performing live or in showcase. And that's not all! Tipay, the Reunionese dancehall singer, will also be present at the Sir Gaëtan Duval Stadium.
Protez Nou Lagon 3 is an opportunity to make Mauritians aware of the need to protect our lagoon and the environment, while having a good time with family and friends. So come in groups on Saturday, December 10, to enjoy the various free activities and a promising concert in Grand Gaube!

About the Artists
Tipay
Tipay is a dancehall singer from Reunion Island who has had many successes. He started music at a very young age. His own style of writing is mainly Creole. During his career, Tipay has made many collaborations, including that of Vj Awa. He is not only a talented artist, but also an authentic one.
Blakkayo
Blakkayo is a popular local artist. Since he was young, music has been his passion. He performed with his friends on stage in the 90s. He was then encouraged by Bruno Raya to join the OSB crew, which became a trend and popular for many years. From his first day on stage, he did an outstanding performance that made him love live shows and also the stage where he feels more alive.
The Prophecy
The Prophecy is a reggae music band composed of more than 5 members. The group was formed in 2009. The idea came from 2 childhood friends, Murvin and Olivier, to create a band to promote music and their talent. They use reggae music to share their message with Mauritians. The group was created by the one and only Murvin Clelie.
Sayaa
Sayaa has always been passionate about singing, and she made a career out of it – she followed her heart and today, she can proudly say that she has succeeded! She has been lucky enough to participate in international events and is in great demand in Mauritius. Among her biggest hits are “Sant pou la mizer”, co-written with her daughter Jaymie, and “Ask dem”.
666 Armada
Whether in parties, cars especially, on the platform Tiktok, their music resounds all day long. This group composed of Swankipakitoke, Zantakwan, Killabone and Evander, has an unprecedented success with their style of music that does not go unnoticed.
Joker Kartel
Joker Kartel, composed of young talented artists, is one of the groups of the moment in Mauritius. Through their music, they climb the ladder and conquer the hearts of both young and old.
Tii Alexandre
Alexandre Sylvain, better known as Tii Alexandre, is an outstanding artist among the youth in Mauritius. Despite his young age, he has gained the respect of many through his first hit song “Angela”. Day by day, this talented artist is enjoying success in the music world among Mauritians.
