Admiral-T

At the age of 16 in 1997, Admiral-T took the world by storm, quickly becoming West Indies’ No. 1 star. He discovered reggae at the age of 12 and grew up inspired by legends such as Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, as well as a variety of sounds such as the zouk of Kassav’, African music and salsa. Originally from Guadeloupe, Admiral-T is a master of dancehall, renowned for his duets with La Fouine, Kassav’ and Diam’s. He has made a name for himself by opening for Sean Paul, and has even made his mark on the silver screen, playing the lead role in ‘Neg’Marrons’. In short, Christy Campbell, aka Admiral T, is a true musical and artistic icon.

Mercenary

Mercenary, also known as Vincent Denis Eliza, is a prominent artist from the Seychelles. He is the brother of Elijah, another renowned Seychellois artist who is very famous in Mauritius. As a teenager, Mercenary began to make a name for himself in the music industry with songs such as “Ou Zis Parey”, “Past and Gone”, “Ankor en Fwa”, “San Ou” and “Believe Dan Love”, among others. Mercenary also boasts an extensive musical repertoire, with a number of collaborations, including with Blakkayo on the hit “Par Lao Jah”.

Jakim

Jakim is a versatile artist from the Seychelles with over 20 years’ experience in the music business. Although he is known for his dancehall reggae style, Jakim is also willing to embrace various musical styles and reinvent his image throughout his career. Jakim has shared the stage with artists such as Steel Pulse, Ky-Mani Marley, Gentleman, Demarco, Julian Marley, Tikenja Fakoly, Konshens and Charly Black, among others. He also performed at the Reggae Donn sa 4 festival in Mauritius.

Elijah

Elijah, whose real name is Stephen Eliza, is a Seychellois singer who “met la faya”. Travelling around Mauritius in 2018, he produced the album ‘Tanpet’, whose track ‘Coco’ was a remarkable success. He also collaborated with Mauritian singer Linzy Bacbotte on the album ‘Infinity’. The album is an explosive fusion of traditional music, including sega, reggae, ragga and Afrobeat.

Tania

Tania Jeremie, a prominent artist from the Seychelles, embarked on her musical journey at the age of eight with “Twinkle Little Star.” Progressing from choir and church engagements to the vibrant Indian Ocean music scene, her career has flourished. Her album “Dan En Zistans,” comprising fifteen tracks alongside the recent single “Ipokrit Ek Parazit,” stands as a testament to her artistic ingenuity. Collaborations with notable figures like Elijah, coupled with her remarkable stage presence, secured her the title of Best Female Artist at the 2021 MMA Awards.
