Zagaferger Digizefgef – 19th November

Event 10+

IMMEDIA presents Zagaferger Digizefgef (Zafer Dizef), a play in Kreol Morisien by Madaya Condeah, which won the Konkour Lekritir Teatral Pri Dev Virahsawmy 2025-2026.

Zagaferger Digizefgef is a satire of power, manipulated justice and collective hypocrisy. Behind the wordplay, grotesque situations and bursts of laughter lies a darker mechanism: a world where the guilty know how to convince, where those in power prefer to be flattered rather than enlightened, and where innocence offers no protection.

Synopsis

At Santekler Farm, the disappearance of Mamapoul’s precious eggs triggers an unprecedented crisis. Furious, Papakok, the self-proclaimed king and supreme judge, launches an investigation to uncover the culprits. But the real thieves, experts in lies, manipulation and flattery, turn the trial into a judicial farce where truth becomes the enemy to be defeated. In the middle of this corrupt farmyard, Burik, a candid donkey in love with Mamapoul, risks paying the price for his innocence.

So, the date is set! On 19, 21 and 22 November, head to the Serge Constantin Theatre to discover Zagaferger Digizefgef. Come laugh, reflect and discover this witty satire in Kreol Morisien.
