AURUS, also known as Bastien Picot, will showcase his transcendent Maloya music in an orchestral and percussive pop concert at the Institut Français de Maurice on March 1st in Rose-Hill. It promises to be an enchanting fusion worth discovering.
This marks the inception of Aurus's ambitious new project, led by the artist behind the pseudonym, Bastien Picot. Bastien, a musician with a radiant aura and captivating musical intricacies, navigates a creative path reminiscent of a fusion between James Blake and Woodkid.
PRISM is conceptualised as a musical mosaic, consisting of four EPs, each representing a different facet of his artistry and curated by various producers, including Reunion islanders Moana Apo and Mathéo Techer.
