GeekinCon 2026 is Mauritius’ first multi-faceted pop culture convention, redefining the scene by moving pop culture from simple consumption toward a more professionalised movement of creation and innovation.

Hosted at the prestigious IFM, this professionalised summit bridges the gap between Gen Z digital creators and Millennial "Retro Parents."

On the agenda: talks on the creative industries, interactive tech experiences, and live performances powering up the whole day — in an event built for everyone: families, all generations, and every fan of pop and geek culture.

• La Fabrik (The Doritos Tech Arena): An immersive gaming hub featuring VR Oculus Quests, PS5 stations, retro arcade battles, and locally developed PC games from the Mauritian Game Jams.
• The Intellectual Summit: Three industry-level conference tracks in the Amphitheatre featuring confirmed pioneers like artist Evan Sohun, filmmaker Jon Rabaud, and acclaimed authors Amarnath Hosany and Yianna Amodine.
• The Agora (Craft Village): Discover the island's premier Artist Alley, showcasing 20+ local illustrators and designers.
• Cosplay Competition: Witness the return of Mauritius’ best creators in our first-ever official championship.

The Geek's Cosplay Competition

• Witness the very first official championship by We Are Geekin’, where some of the most visually striking creators in Mauritius will compete for the Grand Prize in a spectacular celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and performance.
• The competition will be judged by an exceptional panel featuring Sabrina “Kyky” Thierry, winner of several local and Indian Ocean cosplay competitions in 2022 and 2023, Jason Tse, who represented Mauritius internationally at the Geekali Festival in Reunion Island, and Emanuel “FireDrake” Ami, a cosplayer since 2022 and member of the Geekin’ Collective.
