About the artists:
Zulu
Born in 1964, Zulu (Michel Bavajee) considers himself an artist committed to the difficulties of life and does not hesitate to turn to his songs for the subjects that are close to his heart.
In 2008, together with Lionel Permal, they formed the group Blackmen Bluz, which was well loved by the locals with hits such as ‘Gabrielle’ and ‘Tir Boison’, but eventually disbanded in 2012. The following year, Zulu released his first album titled Zulu with 12 tracks and despite the financial difficulties, he managed to release his second album in 2016 titled ‘Intimist’, and then his third album ‘Tango Bluz’, in 2018.
Zulu is proud to be an artist who enjoys performing on different stages as ‘Zulu ek So Tribu’, to bring the message through his songs to the general public.
Akoustika
Akoustika is a music group founded by Jonas ROBERT. Their specialty is acoustic music and they cover a variety of popular songs such as: Pink Floyd, Ben Harper, Oasis, Francis Cabrel or U2. Mauritian musical group, author, composer and performer, Akoustika knows how to entertain the crowd.
