About the Event: The London Trio

About the artists :
Simone Strohmeier
After completing her Master Degrees in Violin Pedagogy and Violin Performance at the Academies for Music in Basel and Lucerne (Switzerland) violinist Simone Strohmeier served as substitute violinist in Orchestras like Sinfonieorchester Basel, Kammerorchester Basel and Camerata Zürich before gaining recognition as soloist and concertmaster of “Ensemble La Partita Zürich”.
She followed invitations to perform as soloist, leader and chamber musician in Europe (KKL Lucerne, Kleiner Tonhallesaal Zürich, Kursaal and Kulturcasino Bern, London Milton Court Concert Hall, Musiikkitalo Helsinki, Balai Resital Kertanegara Jakarta, Fismer Hall Stellenbosch, Caudan Arts Center Mauritius and many more. Since 2019 she plays in the SwissOrchestra and serves as Concertmaster at Bachensemble Lucerne since 2022. Furthermore she teaches a violin class at KMS Pratteln (SUI) and is a dedicated music pedagogue
Daniela Laubscher
Daniela Laubscher studied Flute with Felix Renggli at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel (CH). Additionally she took Masterclasses with Marina Piccinini and Classes in Improvisation with David Darling. As a dedicated chamber musician she performs in various Ensembles such as Camerata Cantabile, LUDUS-Ensemble and many more in Switzerland and abroad. As a sought after pedagogue she gets frequently invited as a Jurymember in Soloist- and Chamber Music competitions and teaches at the Kantonsschule and Stadtschulen Solothurn and the Musikschule Aarberg.
Anne Chauveau-Dhayan
Après avoir obtenu son Master et Artist Diploma au Royal College of Music de Londres, Anne s’est produite avec différents orchestres tels que le RTE Symphony Orchestra à Dublin avec qui elle était membre officiel, le BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, etc mais aussi en plus petites formations comme avec son trio “A Piacere” avec qui elle a reçu le prix du public en finale du concours de Musique de Chambre de l’Académie St Martin’s in the Fields à Londres.
Anne s’est produite dans plusieurs festivals internationaux comme le Castleton Festival aux Etats Unis où elle a eu le privilège d’être Violoncelle Solo sous la direction de Lorin Maazel. Ses concerts lui ont permis de se produire au Japon, Chine, Arabie Saoudite, Turquie, Roumanie, France, Royaume Uni etc. Dans un autre style musical, Anne a aussi participé aux British Awards en accompagnant Rod Stewart. Elle a aussi partagé la scène avec Andrea Bocelli et le Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Installée depuis peu à l’Île Maurice,Anne est ravie de pouvoir continuer à partager sa passion pour la musique.
