Alain Narainsamy

Alain Narainsamy never imagined being one to be a humorist. During his teen years, he was a fan of movies of stars such as Mehmood, Pierre Richard, Michel Leed and Luis de Funes and these influences can be seen in his acts and sketches

Together with his brothers, they turned towards singing and even released a sega album; however their career in the music industry was short-lived. Alain got into humour theatre when he realised that what he saw in movies could also be portrayed on scene when attending a play.

It was not an easy road from there on for him but he knew just how to fuse his passion for theatre and singing and produced the artist that he is today. From hilarious parodies of famous hits to amusing sketches with hints of his favourite artists, with Alain Narainsamy, it is sure that one will not leave without having laughed until they cry out of laughter

When he is not humouring the Mauritians in auditoriums, you can catch him on Wazaa FM where he has his own segment to entertain the audience with his jokes and good music
