Bigg Frankii
Born and raised in Roche Bois, Bigg Frankii discovered a passion for music at an early age. He mentioned that his love for music comes from his parents, particularly his father who is a musician as well. At the age of 8, he gave his first performance at school. During his studies at secondary school, he launched himself in the slam poetry and even reaches the semi finals of an inter-college competition
In 2011, Bigg Frankii participated in the show Star and slowly gained recognition. The Mauritian public gets to properly discover Bigg Frankii in 2013 when together with his cousin, Sky To Be, they record the song ‘Mo Demand Tw Pardon’. This collaboration gave Bigg Frankii the confidence he needed to pursue his dream of making a career in the music industry.
In 2017, Bigg Frankii released his first album, Borwdel Hakunamatata, followed by the second album, The Bigg Frankii Show, in 2018 and his third album, Zenfant Lakaz Tol, in 2019. With his father at his side to help him with his studio or even his songs and his girlfriend which proved to be a muse for one of his hits, ‘One In A Million’. Bigg Frankii mentioned that he also takes a lot of inspiration from US Rappers for his songs and also videos.
Recently in 2020, Bigg Frankii was seen in Lockdown Island, the first Mauritian island reality TV Show with other artists, bloggers and influencers.
