Eric Triton

Eric Triton was born in Cité Père Laval, Rose Hill. From the tender age of nine, he found himself drawn to the melodious strains of his father’s guitar, sparking a passion that would define his life’s path.

Unlike his peers, who hesitated at the prospect of performing in front of an audience, Eric fearlessly took to the stage during his school days, showcasing a natural inclination for musical expression.

Despite his early affinity for music, Eric encountered resistance from his parents, who were apprehensive about his aspirations in the field. Undeterred, Eric would sometimes skip school to pursue his musical endeavours, navigating a societal landscape where musicians faced stigma and prejudice.

Yet, Eric’s unwavering self-belief propelled him forward. Fearless in his solo performances, he honed his craft independently, defying the odds to emerge as a successful singer. Despite the challenges of his era, Eric’s determination and vigour characterized his youth.
