Known by his audience as DJ LP, the real name of this seasoned artist is Laurent Pierre Richard. Born in 1985, he has been a DJ for 14 years, specializing in various forms of house music.
Beginning his journey in Australia in 2004, DJ LP worked as a Freelancer DJ for OMA Entertainment, DeGraff Entertainment, and Definition of House in 2004, 2006, and 2009, respectively. He played at private parties and nightclubs, establishing himself as a sought-after talent.
Upon returning to Mauritius in 2012, he co-founded Brand Events, where he performed at various venues including OMG Nightclub, Bar-A-Bar, Fashion TV Club, and The Beach House Restaurant.
As the Resident DJ at Lakaz Cascavelle from 2014 to 2020, DJ LP continued to make waves. In 2015, he founded Juicy Box and, in 2019, established his own company, OfficialDjLp. Known for his ability to make people dance, DJ LP blends deep, sexy, Latin, Afro, funky, soulful, and jacking tunes, showcasing his signature style.
