He may be known to the world as Shehzad K, but his real name is Shehzad Khodabaccus. Born on February 10, 1989, in Flacq, Mauritius, Shehzad grew up with music in his veins. From a young age, he was already experimenting with sounds and crafting his tracks — long before stepping into the spotlight. Music has always been more than a passion for him; it’s a guiding force that continues to shape his journey.

In 2014, his talent and determination earned him the title of winner at the prestigious Ministry of Sound DJ Academy — a turning point that launched him into the international scene. That same year, he had the opportunity to perform alongside Martin Garrix at White Sensation, marking the start of a promising global career.

He’s played at major events such as Euphoria and the Social Buzz Music Festival, and was also a resident DJ at the prestigious Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa in Mauritius.
