Yohan André discovered a passion for music at a young age. This talented artist is inspired by real life events, love stories and movie scenes. At the age of 17, he started performing in public such as in nightclubs and events.

The Mauritian public was first introduced to this young songwriter through his debut track, ‘To Grandiose Toi’, which became a massive hit on TikTok. What started as a hobby quickly transformed into a career path for the rising artist.

Since then, he has continued to release hit after hit, including ‘Lavi 100 Twa’, ‘Kisana Piarose Marose’, ‘Ti Mamzel’, and more recently, ‘Alice’, ‘Vinn La Mama’, and ‘Ingrat’.

Throughout his journey, he has built strong connections with fellow local artists like Tazou, Tii Alexandre, Donovan Bts, Ejilen Faya, Tiana, Swanki, and Lumando. These collaborations have played a key role in shaping his musical evolution.

The true turning point in his career, however, came with the release of his EP ” Male Honnete” and especially his debut album, “Reve”. This digital album allowed him to turn a long-held dream into reality, particularly with an electrifying collaboration with Blakkayo on the track ‘High & I’.

A large part of this success is credited to his beatmaker, DJ Wayn. Their chemistry is undeniable, not just in the studio, but in real life as well, where their strong friendship enhances their creative partnership.

And he’s not stopping anytime soon! Riding the wave of his success, he’s setting his sights on new horizons and pushing himself even further to leave his mark on both the local and international music scenes.
