Mr Drespoir

Mr Drespoir, short for Louis Dylan Jefferson Respoir, comes from the ghetto; which made him who he is today – a man with a strong personality. This talented artist discovered a passion for music at a very young age and as a result, he decided to fully dedicate himself to the music world.

This promising singer draws his inspiration from the reggaeton of Arcangel and the Puerto Rican, J Alvarez. Despite being the sole singer in his family, this did not stop him from taking this path and climbing the ladder to success.

It all started when he met Bruno Raya, a leading artist in Mauritius. The latter encouraged him to pursue his dream and to never give up. Bruno Raya helped him to adjust his stage name and even made him participate in the show Live n Direk, on the local television.

Mr Drespoir is a hit with his songs with a new dancehall vibe blended with many other musical sounds such as calypso, sega, drum sega, hip hop and kompa. All it takes is around an hour for him to write a song.

Despite the ups and downs, these experiences reassure him of his career choice. Thanks to his determination he has managed to achieve success.

Mr. Drespoir speaks of his desire to bring his music to the international stage and intends to help those in need if he succeeds.
