With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years, Yousoof Elahee first showcased his innate acting talent at the age of 17. The MCA enlisted him to shine in English in a video before the introduction of oral English during his HSC studies, and it was at this juncture that something clicked, propelling him into the world of theatre. His captivating journey on the stage began at the Port-Louis Municipal Theatre School at the Idrice Goomany Centre in Plaine Verte, where he swiftly earned the title of best actor at the national drama festival.

Yousoof Elahee’s prowess extended beyond the stage as he clinched the gold medal for drama at the CJSOI Games, adding another accolade to his impressive list of achievements. Navigating effortlessly between comedy and drama, the actor caught the discerning eye of Miselaine Duval, leading him to join the renowned team of ‘Kel Fami,’ a sitcom broadcast in prime time every night. Rapidly becoming a mainstay of Komiko, he made a significant contribution to the island’s comedic heritage.
