Ken Zo
Ken Zo, whose real name is Fabrice David, began his musical journey at the age of 7 with classical violin lessons. After that, he learned to play various instruments to be able to learn other types of sounds and also tried to improve his skills with orchestras and other groups. During his childhood, he was very well supported by his mother as his music teacher and this is what made him more interested in music.
His mother helps him with the basics of piano and singing. He was enrolled at Conservatoire de Musique François Mitterrand where he got to learn music theory in french. When he reached 13, he had to move to the Conservatoire de Musique Frédéric Chopin which allowed him to increase his knowledge in piano and music theory in English.
He started deejaying and producing in 2007 under the name of Mr. Snob. He was producing Progressive House and a few techno sounds around. He used to play in very small events such as birthday parties and school fairs. His real debut was in 2011, in Melbourne Australia where his project was on the fusion of progressive house, progressive techno and psychedelic trance.
He came back to Mauritius by the end of 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry from RMIT, Melbourne and is now known as a leading DJ on the island. He is also known to be able to play versatile music.
